sl500 r230 2003 model
Hi
Just bought myself an sl500 r230 !!!
The car is fantastic but there are a few probs, the main one being an anoying message telling me to start engine due to a braking problem and sometimes reads "take to workshop"(Message clears after restart and may not come back for a few days)
My local independent specialist has had it on the star and says the brakes are fine and to ignore the problem (its probably the front wheels being slightly out of line or camber.
Had the four wheel alignment checked and the front was just out of tolerance, so maybe this is the problem ???
The guy in the alignment centre told me you can have camber bolts put in which will make it better but still not perfect (this is a common problem with mercs and bmw's apparently?)
Any input on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
