C200 KompressorAntenna Amplifier replacement
Hi My 2001 c200 Kompressor the radio is not clear and the central locking not working at all. The guys inspected indicated it is a Antenna Amp problem and are asking A$900 to fix. Iprefer to do it myself. Once I replace it will teh central locking start working or do I have to take it to Merc dealer to re program the keys?
Please help. I removed the Amplifier cover and when I touched on the black wire the radio was working fine. I thought it was a bad joint. So soldered back again and it did not fix the problem. If I hold a screwed driver in that joint the radio works perfectly, but not the central locking. Any ideas?
