Has anyone had the same problem with there 2011 ML350 bluetec where all the electrical system shuts down and tells you to drive direct to Dealer do not attempt to change gears??? Long story short they said the sensor from the mirrors and harness need to be changed $1900 do to the water getting in the mirrors and shorting out the circuit. They said they would replace the sensors and harness. I asked if it is a design flaw where the water from the mirrors finds its way into the housing how will this not happen again?? They said its a updated version.
Having said that I had them disconnect the sensors $282.00. Ps I feel that MB should be warrantying this defect of theirs.
