Newbie dreaming of a GL350
At the age of 64, I drove a Mercedes (GL350) for the first time in my life yesterday and I fell in love. I've been an engineer at Boeing my whole career and really appreciated all the engineering excellence that has gone into that car! Hope to be able to afford one when I retire later this year. Came here to learn and ask questions!

Thanks. Just thinking of the economy of the diesel. I imagine the 550 is quite the beast! Do you have the off-road package?

I hear ya! About all I would do is go on some Forest Service roads to camping spots, not real 'off road' :-) I would look good behind the Silver Star logo I think... Lol
