Dear all, I am new to the forum and have a question to ask. I recently bought a mercedes benz e240 elegance. It's 2004 model have done 20,000 miles only, got from an old man who used it minimally in the last 10 years. It's almost a new car literally, with full mercedes benz service history. Now, I have never driven a Merc e class before. When I drive it, when the car slows down and is about to stop some funny noise comes from front wheels area/ somewhere deep inside the bonnet area may be, as if some thing is being activated to grip the wheels etc ( don't know how to describe it) it stops after few seconds and happens very regularly. It's actually quiet annoying and I am a bit worries as I don't know what kind of noise it is..? Can anybody explain what it is..... Many thanks
