thinking of trading my e for a c
I have a 1998 430 e. I really really love my car for its power and looks. I am considering buying a 2005 c230 with less miles. I love the looks of this car but on test driving it I was disappointed with the speed I am bringing it to a mb mechanic just to be sure it's nothing wrong with the car causing it to lose power but I think I'm just spoiled by the 430. M thread is about the 430 e vs c230 just want to hear opinions from other mb enthusiasts

I'd advise against it.... you'll be disappointed by the variant lack of power and handling. Still a nice ride - but it will feel like riding a tricycle after driving a Harley Davidson.... Just my opinion....

94 LSx RX7, 05 C230 Kompressor
I own an 05 C230 Kompressor Sport and really love the car, although I've never driven a 430e. I love the C230 for the fuel mileage - I got 32.5mpg during my cross country trip MA-CA, owned it for about 2 years and haven't had any issues with the car besides doing regular maintenance like changing oil and brakes. I have 107k on the clock and it still runs strong! It might be a bit too bumpy for people who are used to driving higher class cars, but it does really well for me

I did end up buying the c230. I still prefer my e for many reasons but this car is newer and I'm to busy to start restoring it if I run into problems. The c230 does look good and I do like it thanks for your inputs

I like the E enough that I just purchased a third one.
E55, Power and luxery all in one
E320, like the idea of four matic and all around safe car for the family
E350, I liked the newer body style so I picked one up - Although I recently had a 2014 as a loaner and I liked it more than the 2012 reminds me more of the w211
I like the c63 for a c,
and I've considered the s550, but I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet

with the only remaining options being leather and electric seats. September 1994 was the release of the GE2 update model. Like Mazda Australia did with the GD2, there were now two choices – the 4WS all options MX6, or the 2WS version.
