Smile Hello from NYC (99 SLK230)

Hi,

I just helped my brother buy a 99 SLK230 w/100k miles. We bought it from an old lady who barely drove it. Overall very clean car, no rust under chassis. You can tell it was never driven in the snow. The engine, transmission, and power hardtop is in great condition. Since it's a 99, it does need some maintenance. It has the p0170 code which based on my research indicates that it's most likely the MAF sensor. Also, it's going to need some ball joints and tie rods soon. There's also some cosmetic imperfections inside and outside but seems like a great car so far.

Thanks for reading. Would love to learn from all of you.

Cheers,
Yat

PS: Oh BTW, we're looking for a set of 17" factory AMG rims with tires if you have a set for sale.

Welcome! SLK makes for a great little summer car! Looks pretty good and the interior pieces you can paint over.
