Here's my Benz...
Greetings, Everyone!
My name is Al. I'm a retired author, writer and journalist and I've recently acquired a 1979 Mercedes-Benz 250, a vehicle manufactured for sale in Europe only. It was bought new and shipped here by a gentleman who recently passed away, making me the second owner. It has a completely rebuilt motor and transmission, as well as new starter, alternator, radiator and starter.
There are 163,000 miles on the vehicle, and about 3000 miles on the drive train and parts I listed. The carburetor is an after-market 4bbl Edelbrock. It runs fairly well, although the idle is a bit rough as the carb needs a bit of tweaking.
