Hi, ibe read about rattling noise in ML350 in startup, mine its not doing at startup, but it is ticking very loud, always!!
I took it to the dealer and they said all test said it was good and that it was normal!!
Cause of the direct injection, but im buying a 75k car, this is not a 1978 car sounding like a construction truck not a luxury suv. Mines a Gasoline not diesel!

Well i wanted to know some insights from owners here to see if i could fix this!!

I read something about timming chains, p valves and some other things. But it qas when starting..

That has video and my ML has the ticking sound you hear but constant not rattle on start up..
