2003 Mercedes C240
New 'accidental' Mercedes owner here...
Hi,
I'm new to Mercedes Benz and while it wasn't an intentional choice, I appear to be into it for the long haul. I co-signed for a 2003 Mercedes C240 base model for a family member that had just come out of the navy (you can see where this is going).
Well, lets just say that 7 months later, I was at the repo lot picking up a car that was behind 4 payments, had no insurance, an expired registration and a gash in the passenger front door. So, I promptly picked up another door and now I'm on my way trying to making something of this car. Although it's essentially an entry level model (no offense to c-class lovers here), I already have a list of things I want get to enhance the car's appeal. I had read somewhere that people have installed M112 superchargers on C240s and I was wondering if there was any validity to those rumors? I was skeptical about the fit and whether the on board computer would tolerate it. All in all, I'm here to learn as much as possible since this is actually the first import car I've ever owned.
