My name is AJ from Washington DC area. I am the proud owner of my dream car: 2003 SL 500. Her name is flytetyme! I have enjoyed the MB experience!

2003 SL500
Problems with alarm system/battery drained
Hi Everybody!
Back in November I could not get in my car via the key fob..I had to use the key manually to get in the car. Once I got in the car using the key I got a message on the dashboard saying Electric consumers offline! I replaced the trunk battery in August 2014. So I replaced the starter battery. Everything seemed to be back to normal for two days.... Then the key fob will not unlock the car and the car will not start!! The alarm light is still flashing and car thinks that its being broken into..I replaced the batteries in the key fob and it did not open the door via the remote. I checked all fuses and they are all good. It seems that the car ignition and key does not recognize each other. When I jump the car it starts up and key will turn the alarm off. I don't know if the alarm system needs to replace or the SAM needs replaced or the car needs to coded through the star system via the dealer...
