Waiting on my 2016 E400
Well after a debacle with the 996 parking assist package, I was able to finally get the original car re-ordered with all the options that I wanted.
Can anyone tell me if the radio has been updated to the NGT5 system that will have support for Apple CarPlay?

I am so excited to get my new car I can hardly wait. I have been waiting 3 months already and the set back put me back another 2 months but I know it will be worth the wait. This is my 1st Mercedes and I am very excited!

You are going to love your new E400 - very nice build.
Can't answer the CarPlay question - a search here will come up with multiple threads/posts. From memory, I think it's still a year out - maybe.
Have the same interior - the grey hexagon style MBZ all weather mats help keep it clean - I put them in at delivery.
Tasteful window tinting greatly improved appearance with the light interior IMO.
First MBZ here as well - the E400 seems a great place to start.
