New 2010 GLK member here
First time Mercedes owner, long time German/Italian car fanatic
Just bought a GLK350 4matic from CarMax... Black/black, 29k on it, no lease, no loan, no accidents! Was very impressed with how solid this little 'ute is. Drives kind of like a truck yet handles better than anything else we drove, especially in the snow/slush/ice. Overall very pleased.
I do have a few questions & comments on car.
1. The COMMAND or radio system takes some getting used to
2. No streaming BLUETOOTH standard in 2010?
3. I went for a 5 year/75k MaxCare Warranty from CarMax for $1900. I can cancel it at anytime and receive a prorated amount back. For instance, if I cancel within the first 30 days I get all of the money back. Based on this models reliability, is this a waste of money or do I keep the warranty? I am no stranger to a wrench and this car will be maintained better than most.
4. CarMax has agreed to put new tires on the car. Do I go with an all-season or dedicated winter tire? Which tire do I go with? I live in Colorado and ski, lots!
