Hi everyone....
How are everyone doing? Well, i have been a member for some time already and finally i can post and ask questions since i am also a proud owner of a merc, my first car.....2006 A180 CDI, love the car but the service is almost due, need some info please.....
On the licence disc it says W169, do i need to change the timing chain?
and what type of oil does it use as i have synthetic oil but i need the oil type code for what it uses, can anyone assist me with this please?
It has 160000km on the clock

Mercedes pioneered this new spec for passenger cars with diesel engines with EURO 4 or Bluetec exhaust particle filters and longer service life than the 229.31 oils. The spec was introduced in 2005. Change intervals increased to 20,000 kilometers. Based on ACEA A3 B4 and C3.
