sounds great! congrats!
can you tell us more about the car? Miles, options etc
my first AMG was an E class too, and was a lot of fun
Thanks!
50k miles and in amazing shape. It was always a California car and very well taken car of. Not a single scratch or ding anywhere exterior or interior. Carfax shows it was regularly maintained and no major issues on it.
As far as options go it has the premium 1 & premium 2 package and the 19" performance package rims (but not the full performance package unfortunately). I can't recall all of the other options but it had a few others on the sticker. I would like to investigate getting the LSD installed since it seems reasonable but the MPH limiter is not something I'm interested in messing with. Me going > 155/160 = bad idea.
On a side note I was playing around with the DISTRONIC PLUS on my way to work today and was absolutely blown away by it. I set it to 70MPH once I got on the freeway and never touched a pedal until I was at a dead stop 25 miles later for my exit. Can't believe how smooth that system works!
Edit: P1 package is standard on AMG. Learned something today, time for a nap haha.
