Pictures to come! as old as it is and as many cosmetic issues it has, it still looks stately.

This thing was a steal at $1100 So far I have been catching up on maintenance:

New oil
New transmission fluid and filter
Flushed coolant
New upper and lower radiator hoses
New expansion tank
New fuel filters
New air filters
New diff fluid
Adjusted valves
Diesel Kleen
EGR vacuum hose plugged
Exhaust rehung
Breather form the air box wielded back on
Lubricated throttle linkage
Cleaned the banjo bolt

Things that will be done in the next week:
New pads and rotors
New brake fluid
New shocks (KYB Nitro pressurized)
Fixed rust in the trunk
Charged A/C
New rack damper bolt
New brighter Headlights

Everything going in it is Mercedes approved. All oils are top of the line full synthetic. All parts are from reputable suppliers.

I'm Getting this thing ready for at least a million miles.

The car is at 300,000 Miles, burns no oil and seems to have zero wear on the cam lobes. All fluids came out looking great. Chain guides look to be in great shape and there is plenty of tension on the chain. It starts up fast with some shaking at idle that I hope to fix.

My Turbo has a bit of vertical play and from idle takes about 8 seconds to spin down. Considering replacing it...... Do these have aluminum impellers of steel. If it is steel I might replace it since a shard of steel will be much worse then a shard of aluminum in my cylinders.

What are your are your opinions on the turbo????
