Hi Everyone, Question About My Inoperative '08 clk350 Convertible Top
Hi Gents and Ladies,
I'm not very "wordly" when it comes to automobile repairs, so I hope you can help me.
My girlfriend just purchased a 2008 clk350 Convertible but we cannot seem to get the top to go down. We get a reading that says (paraphrasing here) "trunk partition in open position..." or something very similar to that.
So we've located and pulled the partition towards us to close it, and we even hear a "click" as if it's locked and in place. Then she pushes the button to open the top and nothing happens except we get that same error message.
Everything that I can see looks to be in working order, so what could the problem be? We're trying to avoid having to go back to the dealership.
Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time!
