2008 C300
New guy from S. Carolina

I have been reading around as a guest for a bit and decided that I should go ahead and sign up.

I currently drive a 2008 C300 with only 22k miles on it. My previous daily (08 Scion Xb) was lost in the recent flooding. Thus I began looking for a car. I hadn't even considered a C300 and was looking at the Genesis and newer Accord. I am still a youngin at 27 years of age so I still enjoy modifying my cars. I don't like having the exact same car someone else can go buy. I like having my own. To get back on track, my fiance was getting fed up with dealerships and such and Carmax was right around the corner. After staring at an EvoX and poking at an A7, I saw the C300. My first impression was "I cant afford it, but I want to see what its about.". I looked at the price tag and thought something was wrong especially with only having only 21,9XX miles. I then test drove it and bought it on the spot after reading a couple of reviews. I will just say I paid between 15-18K for the car. Riding my precious motorcycle to work everyday was growing tiresome

Now I am looking for mods. I have already ordered a Magnaflow X-pipe, installed Junction Produce curtains (I had them set aside for another car), and trying to figure out if I am going to use these 20s I had set aside for another car. I do want to get interior LEDs and HIDs as well.

We all know what a stock white 08 C300 looks like but here are a couple pics of my bike. Could have the car paid off with as much time and money I have in this thing.

Welcome to MBWorld and grats on the new to you w204. She's really a great platform and with a few simple modifications, can really come to life as a head turner.

Let us know if we can help you out with any aftermarket LED/HID solutions.

I would love some advice on some HIDs. I know I need some sort of cancellation box or something like that. As far as brands, I dont want to skimp out. I have used DDM in the past but my Scion went through a couple sets a year. What brand would you suggest?

You'll learn that with european vehicles, what you need are canbus units for all your lighting. This is due to the feedback loop your light assemblies have with your SAM to check for outages/irregularities.

For HIDs, we carry high end Morimoto units. They will be more expensive than cheap DDM kits, but as you see, you get what you paid for. Those kits are not reliable and you don't want to be stuck at night with no lights. Morimoto has built a reputation as an over-engineered product with very high marks across the board which is why we chose to become direct distributors for that brand. We carry their Elite XB35 model line which we believe is the best blend in performance, reliability, and longevity. You'll want an H7 canbus conversion kit.

Offered in 5000K (pure white): http://www.aznoptics.com/index.php?m...products_id=65

and 6000K (white with a slight bluish hue): http://www.aznoptics.com/index.php?m...products_id=67

Let us know if you have any further questions. We also have a full line of LEDs we can replace. Common updates are to the eyebrows, signals, rear plate, reverse, and interior
