2007 Mercedes-Benz C230 Sport
Hello from a New Owner and Member
I just purchased my first MB last weekend. It's a 2007 C230 Sport in great condition! It's funny, because I never thought of myself as a Mercedes kinda guy, but I absolutely love it so far.
One question I have about this car that I'm trying to research without much luck: It has the telephone options in the Comand system with the buttons on the steering wheel, but as far as I can tell, this car is not prewired for phone. I found some really old threads (more than 5 years old) that addressed this issue and talked about options to get it operable like this one: http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...nd%20bluetooth
I'm just wondering if there are cheaper options available now that phone technology has changed pretty drastically since 2007. How have you other owners dealt with this issue?

Welcome to MBWorld. From what I understand, it's not a simple process. The best option is still probably the iTronics kit. Otherwise, what most have done has been simply retrofit with an aftermarket double din unit.
