New 2016 c-63 amg s owner
Hello all, I'm new to the MB world and just bought a 2016 c63 amg s. Wow, I had no idea what a beast this beautifully tuned, 4 door race car actually was until I got behind the wheel!!! (hell of a car, all around) I do have one small complaint, the traction. The car comes stock with 245/35R 19 front, and 265/35 R19 rear. I unfortunately have the Dunlops for stock tires, and there so squarely. Not that there Horrible tires, just seems awfully skinny for only RWD, and 503hp/516lbtq. I'm The Michelin PSS or Pirelli p- zero's are so much stickier.
So my first question is, how much wider tires can I run on my stock rims? (8.5 front/9.5 rear) I was thinking of going 265/30 R19 front and 285/30 R19 rear. Does anyone have any real world experience with this?
And second what aftermarket parts or tunes are out for this model year yet, if any? I'm looking to achieve 700+ hp if at all possible. Any advice as to where to start would be awesome!!!
Lastly, E-85, is that a huge no no in this car???
Thank you in advance, I'm looking forward to diving head first into this world.
2016 c63 amg s= bone stock still- 5 days old.
2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Srt= ripp stage 2/ gen 2 supercharger kit 10 psi, forged Pistons, full headers and exhaust, ignition, built tranny, coil overs... 623 whp..

Being in Norcal, you'll probably be fine with running summers all year round unless you plan on taking her to Tahoe or the like. I personally love Michelin Pilot Super Sports or even Nitto Invos. And no, wouldn't run anything lower than 91.
As for aftermarket parts, are you looking for more power mods, suspension, or aesthetics? In Sactown, check out Elite Auto for bodywork and bolt ons (ask for Andy), IPB Autosport for performance (ask for Ron). IPB isn't the cheapest, but they're legit track preppers.

Thank you for the tips. I'm looking to spend somewhere in the 10k figure on upgrades. Any suggestions? I was reading some Ecu upgrades that claimed 517whp on a completely stock motor. Any truth to that? And would you suggest wider tires? I mean I get a lot of wheel spin on the Dunlops. I'm hoping to go as wide as 285/30 rear and 265/30 fronts. I just don't know the exact size to go wider but keep the same over all stock diameter.

should be ok to go slightly wider. You're at stock height with stock wheels that should have enough clearance to not rub, but maybe just look at stickier tires which should help. For tunes, I'd take advertised gains with a grain of salt. Customer dynos are a bit more legit, but even then there are so many external factors that need to be considered. I'd go talk to IPB though as they can come up with a performance roadmap for you and work within your budget to see how far you want to take it.
