Hello MB World.
New to the forum so bear with me
! Exporting a 2015 C300 from USA into Canada and now find that i may need to replace instrument cluster to be compliant in Canada. There is an option to turn on the daytime running lights however in speaking with Mercedes service department in order to be compliant the driver must not have the option to turn off the daytime running lights and the cluster must be replaced.
Any feedback or experience in this would be much appreciated.

Welcome to MBWorld. They'll probably just replace the switch and pull the trigger wire. Should be a pretty easy swap.

Although not on a w205, I think I recall a thread somewhere about someone with a w204 C class in Canada wanting the option to switch off the lights similar to US spec and was able to do the reverse of what you're going through by simply going in through the switch.
