2012 S550 + Iphone 6 nightmare!
i'm new here, so hopefully i'm in the right place? anyhow, my issue is trying to get my iPhone 6 to work with the comand system. my phone BT is all set up and works fine. and i know the BT does not stream music. however, when i try plugging it into the glovebox connector... it doesn't recognize my phone reads - "no device connected" the cord that came with the car has a 30 pin iPod/iphone connector and a 1/4" female audio jack. i get those don't fit either!! so i went to my MB dealer and they gave me a module connector with the 6 pin lightning connector. (PN A000 827 12 00) the connector fits perfectly into the glovebox module and my phone! BUT, unfortunately the system still doesn't recognize my iPhone!! i have spent countless hours trying to figure this all out so i can play spotify without issues!!
has anyone experienced this nightmare or knows the part number for the correct connecting cable? or a functional "work around"? any feedback would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!!
