Help, bought a new car but can't drive because of plate
Hello All, I purchase a new 2016 GLE350 on 1/9/16 and the temporary plate was already expired on 2/8/16.
The state DMV needs my proof of address to process the plate application.
I am sure DMV contacted the dealership to request additional documents for customer, and NO ONE from the dealership contacted me regarding the plate application. AND actually it's me to call them to find out the issue on 2/5/16.
Because of the delay of plate, it has been 17 days till today that I can't drive the new car. And I was told to expect to wait another 2-weeks to get the plate.
I contacted the dealership yesterday to ask them if I rent a car, will they help me cover the car rental? But I got a refuse from them.
What a Bad experience!!! Because of their work negligence, I have no car to drive in these days.
And they do not offer covering for car rental or other options to me!
who should I talk to complain this issue. Thank you very much!

Welcome to MBWorld. Grats on your new purchase, but sorry she's going to stay parked in your garage for a few more weeks. You can try taking it up with MB Corporate, but honestly don't see that going anywhere. Where it'll really hurt the dealer is with customer reviews to their yelp/facebook/whatever pages. Quite often you'll get an immediate response from them with a compromise in exchange for a change in review.
