NEED HELP GUYS CAR WON'T START....
i just want to thank everyone in advance!
i have an 03 E320 i went to start it up today and the car will not start the car has a full tank of gas, all my lights, locks to the doors & radio work i thought it was the battery i went to AutoZone got the battery fully charged put it back on & i got the same results everything works but when i put my smart key in the ignition & try to fired up the engine i get nothing not even a crank. my smart key unlocks my doors and trunk i notice this red L.E.D light on my smart key light up every time i hit the lock & unlock buttons which it does lock & unlock my E320 but will not start up my car. its my first time with a Mercedes & have no clue what this problem can be if anyone can please help me with some tips & pointers on what it can be it would be really appreciated. i actually checked all my fuses i forgot to write that down and all my fuses are good i been researching and I'm seeing people having these same issues and most are saying it my be my smart key/Fob might have gone bad but when i got the car it only came with one so id have to risk getting a new one and hope thats the issue

Did you recharge or replace all the batteries on the car or just one. I believe most Mercedes have at least 2 batteries.

He got it fixed at a place that repairs gate and garage door remotes. MB won't repair it they will sell you a new key and charge you to code it. Have you tried your spare key by any chance?
