Can't turn key!
Strange but true (and quite out of the blue)
Turned ignition key as usual until glow plug indicator disappeared, continued to turn key and everything went dead.
And now I can't even turn the key in the ignition.
This is on my C200, with a newish key too.
need ideas please.

Turned key and nothing.
Apologies for my slow response, trying to figure out this forum stuff, so hopefully will speed up now and there'll be no stopping me.
Thank you, yes I have now tried the spare key and also had a auto key man check things out. Problem isn't the key then, so now waiting for an auto electrician to come by and diagnose but I fear I may need to get a new electronic ignition switch fitted. Gulp
