2001 S600 WOWS!
In March of 2016 had to replace spark plugs, oil change & ignition coils on passenger side on "01" S600, total cost $3,000
Here I am in June of 2016 & Shifter went, left me stranded at a restaurant, car wouldn't come out of park & needed new battery plus towing charges... $1850.
Only 84,000 miles on car when I bought it. Immaculate interior & exterior, just defects I'm learning with the "01" model S class. Must admit it's becoming costly & frustratimg😡

In the research you did prior to acquiring this 15 year old car with over 80,000 miles (and msrp close to $90,000), were you anticipating a relatively problem free low cost ownership? What advice did you get? I'm sorry for your troubles and wishing relatively problem free miles moving forward

If all is working well now I would get rid of it
