New member - diesel fiend
Hey Y'all,
Long time VW TDI owner and on our 2nd GL350 - previous 2010, now 2016.
Got a Jetta SportWagen I'll take the VW diesel settlement buy-back and get a GLC 300d - IF they're available come Nov/Dec. Here's hoping.
Anyway you guys will get a kick out of this - my first Mercedes was a 1968 200 diesel automatic. It was gorgeous, dirty as he!! and could barely get out of its own way
I miss everything about it except the diesel powerplant and slushbox LOL. Wish I had pictures! Highlights were the barbershop pole speedometer and salt-shaker glowplug in the dashboard so you knew when to pull the start plunger.
Anyway, hope to be a 2 benz family soon.
