Loud Exhaust
Hello all,
I have a CLS55 AMG, and wanted to ask what your opinions are in putting in flow master exhaust (they sound good on trucks). I just want to make the car louder without messing too much with the ECU, I am not a mechanic so just looking for advice on what you would do to make the car louder. Also, I would like to change the stock wheels for something a wider in the back, what is a good combo for a staggered set, I like the widest possible on the back without messing up the suspension. Thanks. |
Think it would sound kind of raspy. Why don't you try removing the resonator with an x-pipe or straight pipe first?

welcome to the forum... :y
for rims, u need custom offset to go widest possible... i'd search for used aftermarket rims for cls55... for exhaust, depends on how much louder you want... if u want significantly louder, then 2nd cat/resonator deletes may not be enough... prolly cut mufflers and see how it sounds... if too loud, then add aftermarket mufflers... |
Welcome to MBWorld! Resonator would definitely be the first and cheapest item to remove. If you are looking for any other upgrades be sure to let me know. :)
