CLS55 AMG
Loud Exhaust

Hello all,
I have a CLS55 AMG, and wanted to ask what your opinions are in putting in flow master exhaust (they sound good on trucks). I just want to make the car louder without messing too much with the ECU, I am not a mechanic so just looking for advice on what you would do to make the car louder. Also, I would like to change the stock wheels for something a wider in the back, what is a good combo for a staggered set, I like the widest possible on the back without messing up the suspension. Thanks.

Think it would sound kind of raspy. Why don't you try removing the resonator with an x-pipe or straight pipe first?

If you just want to make the car louder just knock a hole in your muffler. Cheap and it will make it louder.

bone stock E55 AMG
welcome to the forum...
for rims, u need custom offset to go widest possible... i'd search for used aftermarket rims for cls55...
for exhaust, depends on how much louder you want... if u want significantly louder, then 2nd cat/resonator deletes may not be enough... prolly cut mufflers and see how it sounds... if too loud, then add aftermarket mufflers...

Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW, MINI and more!
Welcome to MBWorld! Resonator would definitely be the first and cheapest item to remove. If you are looking for any other upgrades be sure to let me know.
