I have a E320 CDI. It was stood for a week. When i came to start it up, it fired up straight away but all the intrument lights are out. The head lights are on permantly even with the switch off. The steering wheel controls do not work either. I do not know what fuel is in the car as nothing is on the dashboard. Any clues or ideas to rectify please.

 

Welcome to forum I have no idea what would cause the problem except for a bad battery. Hopefully someone here should have a solution good luck

 

Sounds to me like an electrical short somewhere, maybe caused by a loose harness, bad relay, or bad ground...
