Exhaust camshaft adjuster
Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has ever come across w271 engine exhaust camshaft adjuster circlip giving way and washer,spring and hollow plunger comes out of adjuster. I am on my 3rd genuine merc one. There is a genuine chain kit and new oil pump gone into it. It does not make sense to me why its just the exhaust one doing it. The odd time while driving P0020 would come into it and cause eml on dash. If i do not clear the fault it will clear it self in a day or two and eml will disappear from the dash clocks. When the circlip gives way the car runs and sounds terrible and eml P0020 comes on the dash clocks. Any help at all will be very much appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
