C55 Center Shifter Trim Bezel

Hi Folks

I'm new to MB World, so apologies if I haven't gone about this the right way!

Does anyone by chance know if the generic W203 center bezel trim in the link below, fits the 2005 C55 AMG? Obviously the electronic section is different due to the different gearing options, but need to know if the chrome trim is generic across all w203 models?

The reason I ask is that the clips have broken and I can only find options to purchase the trim for all W203 models excluding the C55. If you want the C55 you have to purchase the whole unit, shifter knob, electronics, leather and trim for $300, vs just the trim for $50 odd.

I've asked a few MB Part specialists but haven't any joy confirming the above, any advice would be appreciated.
