Currently drive a mint mercury mountaineer and am getting a classic Mercedes
New and needing advice!
Hiya!!! I’m from the wonderful state of taxachusetts. And I’m thrilled to be here. So my Issue is this. I have the chance to trade my motorcycle for an old school Benz like I’ve always wanted. I can trade for two and can’t decide which to get. Either a 1991 190e, or a 1995 e420. Both just over 100k, the 190e needs a strut and brakes at some point and the e420 needs a throttle body. I really love these old mercedes, but can’t decide which to give up my motorcycle for. I know the e is worth way more than the 190 all done up but I’m not looking for resale, I’ve just always wanted an old square 90’s Mercedes. Any advise?

Welcome. I would peruse the sub forums for these two cars and see what other people have to say about them. It sounds like the 420 is in a little better shape. If you can check the maintenance histories. The one with the better maintenance history would then probably be my choice.
