My CLS Does not Crank in Cold Weather For the first 2 minuets...

2008 CLS 550 AMG
My CLS Does not Crank in Cold Weather For the first 2 minuets...
Hi All,

My 2008 CLS 550 AMG does not crank when it is cold out there. It says:
- Please Shift to N or P
- ABS, ESP Inoperative
- Elevation Malfunction

I have these errors for 1 to two minutes and then suddenly with one more try it cranks and starts with the very fist crank.
I took it to the MB dealership to diagnose it. They said it is from front SAM (Signal Acquisition Module) which will cost around $1600.

Has anyone had this issue before?
