Question Engine light on after flooring gas pedal from a stop
Hi all,

I am concerned as might light engine turned on after I pressed the gas pedal so hard. The reason for is because I was stopped behind a vehicle and in an attempt to pass it quickly before the oncoming traffic I pressed the gas, I guess too hard and quickly, so the light turned on. Could I have damaged my vehicle or is it something I shouldn't be too concern for?
