Old son

Hi Folks, I am the proud owner of a 2003 E500 Estate. It has 109k on the clock and is in very good all round order. I was looking to change transmission fluid and found I did not have a filler tube. It's not so easy finding out specs and things for some cars but I am now happy I've got a 722.9 gearbox and have found an excellent thread from Johnand on this site which explains in detail what I need to do. I thought I would join and pass on anything I have learnt about the car to any new owners who, like me are a little overwhelmed at the detail in a 14 year old car! These cars must have been fantastic when new, to me they are still barn storming now!! Lots of gadgets, extremely comfortable and everything works as it should. The car looks a little like a hearse, black with white leather interior, but I don't care, I love it!!
