C Class C250 Petrol - horn keeps on going off
Hi all,
New to the forum and am looking for some advise please. My c class seems to be having some electrical issues.
History so far...
Couple of days back received an error on the control panel..stating autolight inoperative but lights were working.. however noticed that my wipers stopped working. I then checked the fuse for the wipers ..seemed ok not burnt.. after replacing it back the wipers started working.
And today a new issue woke up to hear constant horn blowing which ended being my car..had to rush downstairs to unlock the car and started it off...horn went.noise went away only to come back after 2 min and this time nothing worked to.stop it...ended up taking the plug out for the horn connection.
One thing I noticed was that the windscreen drain was clogged with leaves and was not draining the water after further checking looks like water was not draining. Also fuse box gasket seemed a bit wet...could it be that water has entered the fuse box ....just.worried now about the costs involved. At the moment have disconnected the battery and hoping that the fuse box gets dried up....any one else come across a similar issue. Your inputs will be greatly appreciated.
