Are engines interchangable ?
Need to replace the engine in my 2004 c200k (271.940). Have been told I can use a (271.946) out of a 2005 c180k as they are both 1.8ltr SC. Both cars are w203. Is this correct or would it require other changes such as ECU etc. Any info would be appreciated as I need to commit to purchase the engine by tomorrow.
