My 2009 Mercedes-Benz ml320 blutec diesel is using at least 1 quart every 300 to 500 miles up to 1 gallon in 1000 miles what is happening. I am a diesel,mechanic what is happening here.I pulled the exhaust filter blew it out and cleaned it no oily sludge before the catalyst it was dry no oil residue leads me to believe it's burning in the combustion chamber maybe entering through the pcv system . I need help from someone who has had this problem in the past.

I really need help with this issue also catalyst efficiency codes go figure with that much oil usage.

I wish I could see one of these engines, along with some official from MB, I have a few ideas what the problems are, it has to do with the design, but don't know for sure till I see one.
