2000 mercedes benz S500
Mercedes benz Sclass door
Hey everyone, so i have a 2000 Mercedes Benz S500 that i have issues opening the rear passenger side door from outside. The door only opens form the inside. i pulled out the door panel and found that when someone pulls the door lock from outside, the lock its not pulling something on the inside so the door doesn't open. i could buy the part myself and put it on, but i don't know what they call the part. Another thing is can i just buy the part and replace it myself or do i have to take the car to MB dealer to replace it for me. if the process is not that bad to deal with, i can buy the part and replace it myself to save me some money. One more thing, the rear driver side door window is cracked. if anyone knows the procedure on how to replace that window please work me through. I could do that too because i have done a lot from different cars. I know MB has different design and more equipment but same concept. please help thank you people.
