98 Imperial c43 (Salvaged)

hi guys. Thank you for the add. Looking forward to soon owning a c43 AMG. I found one real close to me but need some advice/guidance.

1998 imperial red c43 AMG
180k miles
CarFax shows damage in the front left fender and rear right quarter panel and that it was salvaged by the insurance. Seller says it’s never been repainted, drives straight and strong.
Car comes with the original chrome MONO wheels plus some Lorinser LM5 rims (will probably sell them if I buy the car.
My question is, is $3k fair? That’s the lowest he will take

I don't see much damage apart from the front bumber needing adjustment and some trim missing between the right rear wheel well and door. Needs a good clean and some leather treatment (steering wheel, etc.)

I would absolutely be very happy to pay 3 Grand for that car. If you don't want it I have a friend who would probably buy it by the end of the day, he has been desperately looking for a decent c43

Thanks guys. I’m always so iffy about buying salvaged cars. I usually tend to stay away. But the fact that this is a red one, it keeps pulling me back in.
As far as finding the interior pieces that are missing and relaxing the stereo, I think those should be easy to find.

When i go look at this car tomorrow, what should I keep an eye out for?
