New members greeling 02 cl600 No spark
Greetings to all I just purchased a 2002 cl600 from a friend of mine that had it sitting for years. My friend lost the keys so I had to purchase a new one. The key fob unlocks car and cranks over the engine but it wont start, I checked the coils by taking out the coil assembly and installing a spark plug on one coil and grounding it, there is no spark. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and that didn' help. Hooked up an I carsoft mb2 scanner and ecu has no dtc and showing rpms' when cranking. I removed the voltage regulator and opened it and the inside components look brand new, after removing voltage regulator I checked the harness for both coil packs for power and I get no power when disconnecting the voltage trans, but when I connect it back I only get Power to the passenger side coil pack, the car is also sitting low on the ground as the suspension doesn't work. Also checked all fuses and everything seems to check fine. Could this be an anti theft issue disabling the ignition system?
