1984 Anniversary Datsun 300ZX and MB E2010 Coupe 2010

Hello und halo from Ravi
I've driven my E 350 coupe for 48000 miles mostly on Interstate highways since August 2010 when I bought it new.
Mercedes has performed Service A and B as per schedule every year.
Now I drive less than 2000 miles per year.
My question: should Service A and B be performed every year?
Since the warranty is over, the local dealer is giving me stories about oil leaks and O ring problems
from some side panels on the engine which they can fix for $600 a pop! Of course, they can after I see the leak.
(I also go every year to Sindelfingen, Baden, where my MB was assembled. and talk to some managers
about programming problems in the Command structure.)
I also drive an original Datsun 1984 anniversary 300ZX. I change the synthetic oil at 5-6 years (6000 miles of driving).
It's doing great at 90000 miles and looks show-room new. So synthetic oil is good for many years.
Should I follow this schedule for the E 350 also?
