Greeting and Salutations from Kansas City
Hello, Robert here...picked up my first Benz a couple of months ago. '04 E320 in Silver w/ the 4Matic for $3000 from a local small dealer. Was a one owner with 169k, very well taken care of and a non smoker. Learning the tips/tricks with them and some upgrades. Been surfing around the board for a while researching everything. Hope to learn more, really love driving it. I did have a question though, when you take your foot off the gas, the car doesn't seem to coast but feels like the brakes apply (like with a go-kart, the engine works as a brake?)...is this a 4Matic thing or just the way the MB's are?

Welcome never experienced your problem. My car coasts fine. Would check the brakes and trans on car something may be wrong
