I bought my 2000 ML320 as a secondary vehicle. It seems ok, generally, but I have noticed a few problems lately, like the leaking panorama roof, front and back, auxiliary fans may not work, a/c is lukewarm, o2 sensor is ok,bad,ok,bad,ok,bad,ok again...But, it runs strong, and is dependable. The leaks make for a real meefy smell that makes me want to gag when the windows are up. It came with an awesome thick black grill guard that scares some people, until they realize it's a Benz and not a Ford (Police SUV). I have some questions but can also share some solutions I have come up with along the way. I have managed to round up all the parts (that were missing) except for the headliner access panel for the panorama motor. I have also failed to unlock my roof rack with any key (I have even asked friends to let me use their mailbox key real quick...). Once we get our yearly sunshine (all 2 weeks of it) I'll attack the panorama roof that also does not work. What were they thinking....?
