New guy from Down Under
I'm hoping like most car guy forums I can gain a lot of knowledge from here, I have a December 2012, C250 CDI, just turned 100,000 klm over five years. I have regularly had it serviced per the OEM at the original place of purchase. However, its starting to need some repairs and they are wanting ridiculous amounts of money to do so, $988.00 to fix the sump gasket, $959.00 for new front rotors and pads, $667.00 for rear pads.
So as I'm very mechanically minded, (Currently also own 1970's muscle cars, restored several vintage cars, build and crew on a 6.3 sec drag car etc) its time I started to do these repairs, I have a two and four post lift so that makes things a little easier!!
