GLK X204 320CDI - pin connector disconnected under the seat
I recently went to a detailing shop to apply a leather cleaning treatment and i noticed that one of the electrical connectors under the passengenger seat although it was still connected had its wires unpinned.
There is no SRS Airbag error, and the electrical reclining and heating work very well.
The only issue that i noticed is that the safety belt chime and cluster indicator are not working.
So if a passenger seats on the right passenger side chair, there is no chime or visual warning for seatbelt.
I am attaching some photos of the connector maybe you could shed some light upon this subject because i don`t know WHAT THESE 2 wires DO and how can i reattach them to the connector.Maybe i need to go to an auto electrician to recrimp them.
Also,i would like to know if the SRS error will appear if i disconnect the yellow connector and whether the repair is possible without disconnecting the connector.
Thank you very much and sorry if i didn't use the proper terminology.
My VIN is: WDC2049831F279583
PS: The ones that are disconnected are the two black cables which come from the grey jacket.
