CLK350 7G-Tronic (722.9) Issue
Hi MBWorld,
A new member here so please forgive me if something like this has been posted before.
I have had my first Merc for nearly a year now, its a 08 plate CLK350 Sport Convertible. Lovely car but its giving me some gearbox problems recently.
I have noticed that it takes some time for the gears to shift when i put my foot down and when I activate the kick down, another issue is when I have finished using the kick down and I release the accelerator the gear will seem to lunge/jerk the car forward.
I have tried to "Reset" the gearbox using the method of turn key, press accelerator, wait 10 secs etc...... but this does not sort the issue.
I am going to change the ATF and filter next to see if it helps then the only other thing that I think It could be is computer related.
The gearbox does not go into limp mode, I can use all the gears, its just so slow at changing.
Do you guys have any ideas?
