Hi all! Thought I'd check in as it's been a long time since I've been in the MB family. I once had an 85 380se. I just picked up a 98 e430 from the original owner. 90k miles, never seen a snowflake (or SALT, thank God). It's only ever been maintained by the dealer, but it's got a few things that seem neglected thus far. The "sealed" transmission needs a little un-sealing IMO. hehe . As does all of the fluids need changed I'm sure. .. and the shocks and springs probably need replaced. Other than that, I guess time will tell. Fuel filter, cabin filters. Maybe plugs?
