New member, looking at C63 S
HI all,
I'm an active community member on a number of auto forums so I may have run into some of you before. At the moment I have a 2005 WRX STi with a Cosworth engine, rotated GT3076R turbo running E85, KW Variant 3 coilovers, etc. It makes 450awhp and weighs about 3,200 lbs. I track the car regularly and it's a great car, but I just got a new job in the Bay Area (currently live in Denver) so I have a lot more funds to work with, no more snow, my current car is way too modified to register in California, and I'm looking for something more grown up and luxurious. I'm looking at C63 S coupes and they seem to be exactly what I'm looking for. Are these cars track-day friendly? I'm not planning on tracking as much as my STi, but maybe a few times per season. Anyone switch up from an Evo or STi and have some thoughts?
Here's my current car at the track. Not the best driving, but I also had some issues with the air pump at the track and wasn't able to get my front tires to stop rolling over.

Update:
I picked up a 2017 C63S Coupe in Designo Iridium Silver, red inserts, loaded other than carbon ceramics.

Just looked up prices for NEMA. The mortgage on my 4 bedroom house in Martinez (30 minutes outside of SF) is less than half of what a studio apartment rents for there.
Talk about throwing away money. Nothing like walking through human feces when going to your luxury apartment. I hate SF.

Thanks. Definitely polar opposites, but both fun cars.
